HCC ART SHOW DATES:
June 17th-July 14th

An additional award will be given in the category of Hanover Excellence, to an artist who resides in Hanover.
Work must be original, completed within the last five years, and not previously exhibited in any Hanover Cultural Council Art show. All work must be properly framed or gallery wrapped (no clip-on frames or saw tooth hooks) and ready for hanging with a wire. No wet paint, please!
Size: 2D artwork dimensions must not exceed 24” in width and 36” in height. Artists should plan on delivering/carrying work themselves or bring helpers. Extra volunteers may not be on hand to help with transportation.
Paperwork: All paperwork is available at registration. We do not have registration forms and results post cards available online to be filled out beforehand. Please plan your schedule accordingly.
**Wires: We’ll remind again: All work must be properly framed or gallery wrapped (no clip-on frames or saw tooth hooks) and ready for hanging with a wire.
AWARDS: PRIZE MONEY TO BE AWARDED:
Prize money will be awarded as follows: one $75 for first place in each of the six categories. Ribbons will be awarded for first and second place in each category. If there are not sufficient entries in a specific category, prizes will not be awarded in that area. An additional award will be given in the category of Hanover Excellence.
The Award Ceremony will take place at 7:30pm on Thursday, June 22, 2017.

Entry is open to all artists, however there will be no categories related to age ie., no youth or teen categories.
2017 ARTWORK DROP-OFF DATES:
Saturday June 10th 3:00pm-5:00pm
Monday, June 12th 10:00am-12:00pm
PRICING structure for registration fees:
$5 per entry.
The Hanover Cultural Council retains a 40% commission on all work sold. Work need not be for sale.
ARTWORK PICK- UP:
Under no circumstances may artwork be removed from the show before the close of the show on July 14, 2017.
ART SHOW RECEPTION:
Everyone is invited to attend this festive evening. Light refreshments will be served. Donations will be gladly accepted.
The Hanover Cultural Council’s trained volunteers will handle all artwork with due care; however, we cannot be responsible for loss or damage. The Hanover Cultural Council will not be responsible for work not removed at the times indicated. We allow photography of the exhibition. Entry at registration indicates acceptance of all of the above conditions. The Hanover Cultural Council may require artists to move/transport their artwork to ensure proper handling.
