6:00 - 8:00 pm    Artist Reception and Awards - John Curtis Library - Open to All!  Come see over 70 pieces of art work submitted for the Hanover Day Inaugural Art Show. Light refreshments and beverages will be served.  Event is free  - Donations welcomed!

Friday June 24, 2016

12:00pm - Senior BBQ Luncheon at the Hanover Council on Aging. Enjoy entertainment and a delicious BBQ lunch at the Senior Center.  Please call Robyn Mitton at 781-924-1913 to register or for more details. Sponsored by Queen Anne Nursing Home 

6:00 - 10:00 pm  East Coast Amusements Carnival at Sylvester Field***Friday Only***Wristbands $20 in advance and $25 at gate. Wristbands allow for unlimited rides on Friday evening only.  Individual ride tickets will also be sold.  Click HERE for more information $ Food will be served from various local vendors

8:00 pm 48 Hour Film Project Boston Movie Screening - Sylvester Field - View short films from some of the top independent film makers in Massachusetts. "Midnight Rebel", which was shot in Hanover by Good Natured Dog Productions in May &  is a Best of Boston Finalist will be shown. Free

9:00 am Hanover Chamber of Commerce Hanover Day 5K Road Race  Registration at Town Hall until 8:30am - Race begins at St. Mary's Church & ends at Hanover Town Hall. Kid's Fun Run, Vendors, Giveaways & DJ at end of the race. Runners should park at Briggs Stables at 623 Hanover St.  Go to http://hanoverdayroadrace.com for full details and to register
